Intermediate Rifle Shooting Course: Self-Defense Applications

This 5-hour course will focus on mastering the skills of rifle shooting in a realistic viewpoint of self-defense. Our trainees will go through a series of instruction designed to improve accuracy, recoil management, grip, stance, and speed as well as review valuable aspects of self-defense related to rifles.

Prerequisite

• Basic Rifle Course or Equivalent,

• Concealed Carry Course of any state,

Course Outline

• Finding the proper grip

• Understanding the trigger and reaching ultimate wrist angle on the grip.

• Reaching accuracy using sight alignment and sight picture

• Rifle presentations

• Recoil management

• Mastering malfunctions

• Accessories review

• Magazine reload drills

• Utilizing unconventional shooting positions

• Force on force scenarios.

Required Equipment

• Students are required to bring their firearm to this course.

• Sling

• Extra Magazine

• Thick belt (at least 1 1/2" Thick)

• Please wear long pants with pockets, closed shoes (no flip flops or sandals), T-shirt or button-up shirt (no V-neck shirts) BRING A LONG SLEEVE JACKET FOR FORCE ON FORCE TRAINING – MANDATORY.

• Eyes and Ears protection. Can be rented.

Ammo

• While only 100 rounds are required to qualify for this course, Jericho recommends bringing 150 rounds matching to the rifle you own.

Notes

• Meals are not included in this session, students are encouraged to bring their own meals.
