CPR & STOP THE BLEED

This course is designed to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to first aid emergencies.  With our program, we teach participants the knowledge and skills necessary to provide immediate care to an injured or ill person when minutes matter most.  You will also be able to identify if advanced medical care is needed. Participants will learn how to care for injured or ill adults and children in a variety of settings who may experience soft tissue injuries, muscle and bone injuries, burns, sudden illness and environmental changes.

Each student who completes class will receive a nationally recognized HSI Basic First Aid Certification which is good for two (2) years

STOP THE BLEED®

The person next to a bleeding victim may very well be the one who’s most likely to save him or her from bleeding to death. By learning how to STOP THE BLEED®, you’ll gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding once you learn three quick techniques

• 2 – 2.5 hours of training • hands-on lecture with concentration on practical skills and practice

• All equipment included for practice including tourniquets, bandages and wound packing

• Each student will receive an official Stop the Bleed class completion certificate.
